How to Reassign a Seat and Card to a New Team Member in OVOU

If a team member leaves your company, you can easily reassign their seat to a new individual. Depending on the card design, you may reuse the existing card or order a new one for the new user. Here’s how to manage the process.

Steps to Reassign a Seat to a New Team Member

  1. Reassign the Seat
    1. Log in to your Teams Dashboard and navigate to the Manage Users section.
    2. Remove the departing team member’s details and reassign the seat to a new individual.
  2. Determine Card Usage
    1. If the existing card displays only your company logo, it can be reused for the new user.
    2. Update the card’s profile information to reflect the new team member’s details.
  3. Order a New Card (If Needed)
    1. For new users requiring personalized cards, place an order through the Order Cards option in the Manage Cards section.
    2. Note: Cards for net new users must be purchased as new cards and cannot be ordered as replacements.
