Understanding how updates to your OVOU digital profile affect contacts who have saved it can help you manage your connections effectively. Here’s what happens when your profile is updated and how it impacts saved information.

How Updates to Your Profile Work

When someone saves your profile, a vCard is instantly generated on their phone by selecting Save Contact. This vCard contains:

1. All the details from your profile at the time of saving.
   
2. A link to your digital profile.
   

Any updates you make to your digital profile will automatically be reflected in the digital profile link saved in the vCard. Clients can visit the link to view your latest information.

Changes to your digital profile will not alter the information already saved directly on their phones (e.g., name, email, phone number). Clients will not receive notifications about updates to your profile.
