How to Enable Instant Lead Capture on OVOU

Instant Lead Capture

Instant Lead Capture allows you to collect and exchange contact information more efficiently, reducing steps for your leads and improving your networking experience. 

How it Works

By default, when someone scans your Smart Card or Apple/Google Wallet, they land on your profile and must tap Save or Exchange Contact to share details.

With Instant Lead Capture enabled, the Exchange Contact form appears first, prompting visitors to share their details before viewing your profile. This streamlined process helps you capture more leads effortlessly.

Enabling Instant Lead Capture

  1. Login to your OVOU Dashboard
  2. Click on Edit on the home screen.
  3. Navigate to Profile Settings.
  4. From here, you'll be able to toggle the Instant Lead Capture.

  1. Is this feature activated by default?
    No, you must manually enable Instant Lead Capture in your settings.

  2. Will this feature work for all sharing methods (e.g., email signature, virtual background, custom QR code)?
    No, Instant Lead Capture is designed specifically for in-person connections. It only activates when someone scans your Smart Card or Apple/Google Wallet QR code.

  3. Do I need a CRM for this feature to work?
    No, but we highly recommend integrating a CRM with your OVOU account. This way, contacts are automatically added to your CRM, organized into pipelines, and help build stronger leads.
